Adventure

I will take you to some of my favourite spots, many are easy walks, but naturally the best results often come from knowing the best times for that special light. All you will need is your camera bag, and a small tripod.

Discover

There are different challenges to photographing people, so my tips will show you how to use natural light without any artificial gadgets. We will visit a working studio and observe how Tracy Stamatakos uses just window light to create a range of looks.

Inspire

Many a successful image results from acute observation and knowing how to manipulate your camera, to create a powerful photograph. With a little coaching I will see your skills develop and that will inspire you to keep pushing the boundaries.

Sunday May 16th through to Thursday 20th.
This includes 5 nights accommodation or you have the option to arrange your own.

Accommodation included rate is $3225 inc gst, or book your own at $2475 inc gst. High quality motel accommodation with single rooms will be available.

May can be a wonderful time for autumn colours and crisp nights and sunny days.

Master Classes are planned for June and August with one-on-one tuition from Bob. These are suitable for experienced enthusiasts and include a model shoot and either half or full days, starting early! Rates are $500 for a half day and $850 for a full 8 hour day. Numbers are restricted to two people

Costs include five nights accommodation, share or single, five dinners, five lunches and five morning teas. Not included are: flights, insurance, breakfasts and wine. Cancellation to allow a full refund must be made within one month of the tour’s start.

Travelling from the South Island is easy. There are direct flights from Christchurch to Tauranga each day. You may be in the fortunate position to use any airline credits. We will meet you at the Tauranga airport and take you to your accommodation. Self driving? Just meet us at our accommodation to start the tour on the Sunday at 12 noon.

It will be a pleasure to take you on a little adventure here in the Bay of Plenty. Whether you are a skilled photographer or need a little help to advance, I will personally enjoy taking your photography to another level.

This is a tour with a difference. You don’t have to pack up each day. From our Tauranga base, each day we explore fascinating destinations, travelling in an air conditioned coach. This is an all inclusive tour with comfort and quality throughout. The tour starts on a Sunday and includes five nights accommodation at the 4.5 star Colonial Court Motel. This is our “hub” where we can share images after each day’s shoot.

The tour caters for photo enthusiasts as well as those whose partners who would just like to explore the sights or do some walks, go fishing, play golf, etc. Your accommodation is 4 star plus, and your meals reflect the diversity of the Bay of Plenty’s cuisine. Our tour is limited to 10 people to allow individual tuition.
